Introduction
Yuliia Rekun was raised in a well-structured and disciplined environment, where being composed and “proper” was important. Emotions were often held back, shaped by the need to maintain a certain image in society.

There wasn’t much space to be loud, unusual, or difficult.

Acting became an outlet — a place where she could express everything that had been held inside. On screen, she allows herself to be nervous, sharp, funny, and deeply alive.

In many ways, what couldn’t be fully lived in real life finds its way into her performances. This journey gives Yuliia a strong sense of honesty and emotional truth in her work.
